Registration
Overview
CIM is only available to registered users. This ensures that users have the minimum access required to perform their job duties. All users must have a their own, unique login credentials. Account sharing in any capacity is not allowed.
Registering New Users
New users have two options for registering with CIM. The method chosen will depend on if any other workers in their office have access to CIM.
Registering Online
If no other employees at the same office have access to CIM, then the user will need to register online.
1. Navigate to help.phtech.com
2. Click on 'Submit a request'
3. Select 'I am with a provider office' from the drop-down
4. Fill out the required fields
A. For the topic, select '[CIM Support] New CIM account access or troubleshoot an access issue'
B. For the issue, select 'I need a new CIM Account created...'
5. Click 'Submit'
Registering Through CIM
If there is another employee at the same office location with access to CIM with the proper permissions, then he or she may register other users for their office.
1. Login to CIM and open the side menu
2. Click on 'Other' then 'Register User'
3. Fill out the required fields
A. For fields where multiple selections can be made
1) Hold down the 'CTRL' key
2) Click each applicable selection
4. Create temporary password
5. Registrant will receive a 'New User Confirmation'
A. If the new user's account is urgent, the registering user should call PH TECH to expedite the process
